The Prophet’s Mosque (al-Masjid al-Nabawī) is the second mosque built by the Prophet Muhammad in Medina, after the Quba Mosque, as well as the second largest mosque and holiest site in Islam, after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. It also houses the sacred burial place of the Prophet Muhammad, Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him.

The Prophet’s Mosque (al-Masjid al-Nabawī) was originally built over 1400 years ago under the instruction of the Prophet himself while he was also heavily involved in the actual physical construction of it as well. What started off to be a build made of date palms trunks, leaves and clay is now an architectural monument of epic scale. The green dome (Quba al-hadra) is also included in this block set.
