Habib Abu Bakar As-Saqqaf

He is the Qutub (leader of saints) of his age, the reference point for all auliya’ (saints) during his time, the pillar of strength of the religion, embedded in his soul the highest level of yaqin (certainty). He is Habib Abu Bakar bin Muhammad As-Saqqaf. His lineage of nobility clung himself to the noblest of the nobles, prophet Muhammad s.a.w. He was born in Besuki, a small town in Kabupaten Sitibondo, East Java, in 1285 H. He was an orphan, his father died when he was young, yet he underwent a good Islamic education under the supervision of his family until he grew to be a soul, rich in the quality of mahmuda (noble quality) and was clear the signs of sainthood in him.

Al Habib Ahmad Mashhur bin Taha Al-Haddad

Al Habib Ahmad Mashhur bin Taha Al-Haddad, was one of the most powerful Alawi influences in East Africa and is generally considered to have been the “Renewer” of Islam in those parts. He was born in the town of Qaydun, one of the towns of Hadhramawt, in the year of 1325 H (1907). He was raised up in the bosom of ‘ilm and taqwa and righteousness by his mother, the virtuous and saintly Safiyya

Al-Habib Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad as-Saqqaf

He is Al-Habib Abdul Qadir bin Ahmad bin Abdul Abdurrahman bin Ali bin Umar bin Segaf bin Muhammad whose lineage connects directly to the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم. He was born in the town of Sewun, Hadramaut, in the month of Jumadil Akhir 1331 H ( May 1913).

The Bani ‘Alawi are the ashraaf sadat (noble descendants) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam. They trace their ancestry to Imam ‘Ali Al-’Uraydi, son of Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq, son of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir, son of Imam ‘Ali Zainul ‘Abideen, son of Imam Husain, son of Sayyidina ‘Ali and Sayyidatina Fatima az-Zahra, the blessed daughter of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam.
